Rocco Barocco (Rocco) is a handsome thoroughbred gelding with a willing personality and beautiful movement. He raced under the name “Rusty Scooter” until he was seven, retired sound (and still is) and has had one owner since. 

With his current owner he spent most of his time doing dressage (up to novice including freestyle) and most recently he is jumping up to 1.10m at home and 1.00m in competition. He is showing that he absolutely loves to jump and gives a great feeling under saddle. 

On the ground he is an easy and quiet horse to manage: floats, long reins, lunges, stands for detailed grooming, stretching (which he loves), rugging, washing, feeding, shoeing, trimming and bodywork. Rocco is great with kids, dogs, machinery and even helicopters.

Recently he was scoped and cleared for ulcers, he’s a good doer and is up to date with all vaccinations.

Rocco will suit a confident and patient rider to get the best out of him as his eagerness to please can overwhelm him sometimes. Once a task is simplified, he is a dream to ride.
